The Minister said the suggestion was a result of discussions with the Government of Brunei earlier this year. Discussions included among other things the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Sabah Tourism Board and the Royal Brunei Airlines to jointly promote Brunei and Sabah a tourism destination. He further disclosed that the management of the proposed ferry service will be handled by private sector from Brunei and Sabah. How soon will this proposal become a reality depends on the ability and speed of the selected operators.
Well...let's keep our fingers crossed!
